There are two types of tournaments on RummyTime – Cash tournaments and Free tournaments.

  • There is a fixed ‘buy-in’ amount for cash tournaments, where a player can enter the tournaments and win money, which can be withdrawn.
  • Free tournaments are tournaments that have no entry fee. You can join them and win Discount Credits. These Discount Credits can then be used to play any cash games available on the platform.

FAQs on Transactions and Payment Modes on RummyTime Account

Transaction has failed but the amount is debited from the bank account

If your transaction has failed and any amount has been debited from your account and is not reflected in your RummyTime wallet, it will be returned to your account within 7 bank working days.
Why does this happen?
This happens when the bank is not able to transfer your money to RummyTime due to a technical issue. Your money is safe and will be returned to your account within 7 working days.

Transaction is successful but is not reflected in the wallet

If you have added cash to the wallet and your transaction is successful but is not reflecting in the wallet then please wait for some time for the issue to get resolved. We would like to reassure you that your money is safe with us & with our Instant withdrawal facility you can withdraw the same any time you want.
Why does this happen?
There might be technical issues on the bank’s side or downtime of their servers which may be causing the delay. Normally, this will get resolved once the issue on the bank’s side is resolved.

When does the withdrawn amount gets credited into my bank account?

When do I get my winning amount in my account/wallet?

My internet is working fine but shows a network issue.

We do understand your problem that you faced a disconnection issue while playing. Online gaming requires a constant and stable internet connection. What is a Waitlist in a Tournament?

A waitlist is the number of players waiting to join a tournament. In case all the seats in a tournament are occupied, a waitlist begins. Chances are, you can enter a tournament from the waitlist as well.

My Internet is working fine but I was disconnected from the game.

In order to play online games, you need a stable and steady Internet connection. Your internet may appear to be stable and working fine, but in reality, it may be fluctuating.

For a smooth gaming experience, please make sure your device is connected to a reliable network and has a strong signal. It is recommended that you perform a speed test to check your internet connection’s speed.

How do I report a fair play violation?

You can report fraud or make a complaint by writing to support@rummytime.com for a resolution. For a thorough investigation, please provide us with the complete details, such as the game date, table number, and the complete issue, along with video or screenshots of the game, when writing a complaint. Incomplete details will delay the whole process.

Please note that all complaints are kept confidential. We will act to resolve complaints within the turnaround time. Post the investigation, any decision taken by RummyTime following a complaint will be irrevocable.

I registered for a tournament but why is my seat not confirmed?

Most tournaments can accommodate a limited number of players only. If you have registered for the tournament but your seat is not confirmed, it means that you are on the waiting list for the tournament. Your seat will be confirmed once other player/players cancel their entry. We will notify you once your seat is confirmed.

How do I get free tournament tickets?

There are two ways to get a free tournament ticket:

  • Scratch card: Use your daily free card every day. You might get a free tournament ticket.
  • Play cash tournaments: Look out for tournaments which offer free tournament tickets to top players.

How to Refer a Friend?

You can refer a friend with the “Referral” option which is available in the main RummyTime (Bottom Right Side of the app) page through Whatsapp and various social platforms.

FAQs on Process and Documents Required for KYC for RummyTime App

Do I have to give my mobile number and email address?

The mobile number is used to verify your identity and you also get all your OTPs and important messages on your number. Sharing the email ID is optional but highly recommended to get all the rummy-related offers.

Can I play in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Assam and Odisha?

Rummy players playing real cash games online from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Assam and Odisha State are prohibited to play cash games. The state government has passed an Ordinance amending the Gaming Act 1974 banning online Rummy in these states.

However, you can continue to play practice Rummy games for free on our app or website.

How to update KYC Document?

To update your KYC document, visit the “Profile” Section on your Lobby page, under the same you would have an option called “KYC”, In the same option you can update your KYC details.

Once your KYC details have been updated it would take 2 Business days to verify. You would receive a Mail & an SMS on your KYC approval or disapproval status.

What is TDS and how does it work?

TDS is the “Tax Deducted at Source,” which we are legally obliged to deduct on all winnings of more than ₹ 10,000/- in a single tournament, or a single Pool Rummy game or Points Rummy game.

What documents should I upload to complete the KYC Process?

To complete your KYC, you will need the following documents:

PAN card

and

Any one of the following as address proof:

  • Aadhaar
  • Driving Licence
  • Voter ID

Please note that the name on your PAN card should match the name on your address proof. Also, you should not be playing from any of the states that have put restrictions on online rummy – Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Sikkim, Nagaland, and Telangana.

When do I get my winning money in my account/wallet?

Why are my KYC documents rejected?

I have added cash but it is not reflecting in my RummyTime wallet. What should I do?

This happens when your add cash has failed. In this case, money is returned to the source account within 3 days if the transaction has been done through UPI or a wallet partner. If you have used a card or net banking, the money will be returned to your account within 7 working days. Please check your bank statement to confirm that the money has been returned to your account.

Can I withdraw funds from my deposit balance?

No, you cannot withdraw funds from your deposit balance. You can only withdraw your winnings.

How can I add cash to the RummyTime account? And is there any maximum or minimum limit?

Can I add cash with my Amex credit card?

No, currently we don’t accept payments through Amex cards. However, you can transfer money from your Amex card to your Paytm account and then add cash through the Paytm wallet.

I have deposited a higher denomination in error, can I withdraw the difference amount?

Deposited money cannot be withdrawn from RummyTime. We suggest you check the amount carefully before making a deposit.

How do I get GameCash?

From 1 October 2023 onwards, GameCash will no longer be available on RummyTime. All existing GameCash in your account will be converted to the new Discount Credits. With GameCash, you used to get a 10% discount on the buy-in amount of your game. With Discount Credits, you can get up to 100% discount on the buy-in amount. Furthermore, Discount Credits expire only when you don’t play any cash game for a period of 30 or more days. All offers on RummyTime will now give out Discount Credits instead of GameCash.

What will happen to the existing GameCash in my account?

We have gone ahead and converted all your active GameCash to Discount Credits. This is going to benefit you even more because with Discount Credits, you can now enter any cash game with up to a 100% discounted game buy-in.

How can I benefit from Discount Credits?

  • Discount Credits are a great way to enjoy cash games at a discounted value. Let’s suppose you get 100 Discount Credits from claiming a Superboost offer. RummyTime brings you an exciting new launch – the Discount Credits Table! Now, whenever you go to the cash game selection screen, you’ll see a new option. This option is for the lowest buy-in table, called the ‘Discount Credits Table.’ Let’s break down the top 3 benefits for you…

The first benefit is that if you don’t have sufficient buy-in balance left, you can join this table for free! Yes, absolutely free!

The second benefit is that if you win a points, pools, or deals game on the Discount Credits Table, you earn Discount Credits! You can use these Discount Credits to get discounted buy-in on cash games. Let’s understand this with an example. Say, you played a 6-player 101 Pools game on the Discount Credits Table and won. What happened to Super7 and Mid Month Bonanza offers on RummyTime?

Super7 and Mid Month Bonanza offers will be paused on RummyTime and will be replaced with Superboost offers. With both Super7 and Mid Month Bonanza, players used to get extra GameCash during their deposit (add cash). With Superboost offers, players will get the more exciting Discount Credits which can enable discount of up to 100% instead of the 10% discount in case of GameCash.

Why am I not getting GameCash offer during Add Cash?

From 1 October 2023 onwards, GameCash will no longer be available on RummyTime. All existing GameCash in your account will be converted to the new Discount Credits. With GameCash, you used to get a 10% discount on the buy-in amount of your game. With Discount Credits, you can get up to 100% discount on the buy-in amount. In case I request for a refund of my deposited value, will my GST amount also get refunded?

As per the GST Law, once the GST gets paid to the government during deposit, it will not be refunded back to you. However, the balance amount will be returned to the account from where you made the payment.

What will be the proof of GST submitted to government by RummyTime?

During deposit (Add Cash), the platform will automatically calculate the GST amount. This amount will be submitted to the government on the player’s behalf by the platform. As a proof, a GST invoice will be generated and provided to all players. This will be visible and can be downloaded from the Add Cash success screen and the Wallet section.

How many times can I withdraw in a day on RummyTime?

From 1st October 2023 onwards, you will be able to withdraw once every 24 hours on RummyTime. Let’s suppose you completed a withdrawal successfully at 12:48 PM on a particular day, then you will be able to place the next withdrawal request on the next day after 12:48 PM.

Since I am already paying GST, do I need to pay TDS?

Yes. Whenever applicable, both GST and TDS need to be paid.
  • All players will need to start paying GST at the rate of 28% to the government on every deposit (Add Cash) from 1st October 2023 onwards. This is applicable for all players on online money gaming apps.

Can I reverse my decision once I use Superboost offer during withdrawals?

No, you cannot reverse your decision once you decide to move your withdrawal balance to game balance through Superboost offer. But if you are having second thoughts about using Superboost, here are some points for you to consider.
  • When you claim Superboost offers more frequently, you will get more Discount Credits and this will enable you to play more number of games at a discounted buy-in
  • Hence, if you are planning to play more games, an option you have is to avoid adding cash every time. Note that every time you add cash, 28% GST will be deducted and paid to the government. What happens to Superboost offer if my withdrawal takes longer to process?

Once you confirm that you want to place a withdrawal request with Superboost offer (Saver or Super Saver), the mentioned amount will move back to your game balance from withdrawal balance instantly. You will also get Discount Credits as part of the Superboost offer instantly. Hence, it is possible that due to bank related issues, your withdrawal takes longer than expected but the rest of the offer will get applied instantly.

Why am I not seeing Superboost offer during withdrawals?

During withdrawals, if your entered amount is eligible for TDS and if you decide to proceed with the option with TDS, you will not see Superboost offers. Currently, Superboost offers are applicable on amounts where no TDS is applicable during withdrawals.
